1. Mes premiers pas en Australie

Résumé de l'épisode précédent : Fraichement arrivé après une escale à Honk Kong, je me rends directement

First feet on the Australian ground. From Hong Kong to Adelaide. From Adelaide to Melbourne. From Melbourne to Sunbury. From Sunbury to Kyneton. From Kyneton to the Bakes house's. The farmhouse is really rustic . I'll sleep in a garden shed. Nice people. The pizza is incredibly good. The weather is not very hot.

Keyneton is pronounced [ k- ai -tone ] and not [k -ei - neuh - toneuh ] . But they say [ gay -li -am ] not [ GUILLAUME ]. We are evens!

"When in Rome, do as the Romans do"

[ gay -li -am ]

First true talk in English with the station master in Keyneton. "WTF" this crazy Aussie accent. Basically, he told me that my accent was so bad, he didn't understand anything of what I'm said to him. But the good point is I was smiling and I was nice and it was fun to discuss with me. So he teach me the right way to say "Keyneton". Judith picked me up at the station. Will and Rob working on the house then we join them. I met Etienne, sound like "ATM" for the aussies, he is French and Noémie is Irish. They both helpers or woofer like me but they leave us soon. Cécile, another woofer who work for Gwen came just for dinner. So i already meet a lot of people. I'm surprise by myself because I understand lot of thing and they told me my english was not so bad. So I think watching TV work really good. That's rules !

Wake up at 4am. It's cold. The breakfast is really cool. We end the first stone arch. So yes, I worked my first day in Australia. But NEW BEDROOM :)

30 kilos of stones are real stone, below its pussy's stone.
First time, I saw one mosquito attacked me under the shower when the hot water falling.

" 4 seasons in one day " is the best sentence to understand the weather in Melbourne.

The night was the reflection of the garden shed.

Muesli, fresh fruit, fresh milk, eggs, marmalade, toast bread...Sound great, isn't it ?

Okay, the night was rotten but now I got a large room with a double bed in the main building. The sound of the victory of Final Fantasy echoes in my head. Peter, a friend of the family came to eat at lunch, and his accent is more terrible than the Rob accent. OMFG, I still work to understand everything.
Do not work on Saturdays is not a religion even if not slept for 3 days. Fortunatly, it's a rainy afternoon so nothing to do. Except some rest.

Crazy bird waked me up. Nice sunday. First Kangourous and farm animals.

First kangourous and nice day in a true farm.

I met the bird who will drive me crazy all the week.
Crazy bird waked me up because he tried to come into my bedroom, through the windows and he didn't understand that he did, never work. NEVER crazy bird...Anyway, peacefull breakfast. Not expected to work. But I finally finished the stone arch in extra paid. Rob & Judith went to Melbourne for the day. Naomi came back home. Gwen invite us to eat at her home with Cecilia. We ran after several sheep for vaciners and cut their tail. We also chased a herd for moving them into a new pasture. Cécille and Etienne tried to shoot with a Winchester gun a few meters from the house. It's was fun. Then we made a search of the white cow name Roses in the pasture. Gwen drove through the high grass pastures. The view was beautiful from above. We went to visit homes for sale for 2 million dollars. A dam that created a beautiful artificial lake. We went in search of kangaroo and we found them but from a far away from us. After we came back with Naomi in the bakes's house. Nice day wasn't it ?

Wake up at 5am. All day work. That's all.

Hard work is hard

Woke up at 5am. At 6am my favorite little bird came. 9am breakfast. 10h, work time. And big time this day because we removed the wooden structure. After crossing our fingers and touched some wood, the stone arch didn't  falling. Mission successful. 1 arch finished, 5 more now. 6 in fact because they decided to do another 5 meters to enter the house. Huge project, isn't it?
This is a draft mad ! 11:30, 30 minutes before the usual end of work, I took a nasty headache, so Rob told me to come home to rest a little bit. I also took a shower and do my first washing in a plastic bag. Rob should go to the doctor in Melbourne so I took the opportunity to take the car with him. After 1:30 car , 1 hour to stroll into the neighborhoods. On returning , Cécile and Etienne was in home for using Internet access. Tony, a friend of Rob & Judith come for eat and build the futur fireplace in Will house's. Will just finished a portion of the wooden floor. And Naomi, who spent his last night with us playing with Tony's dog. Great meal in honor of the departure of Noemi.

My little bird always here, in the morning, to break my balls. Tough day of work.

Hum, my little bird always here, in the morning, to break my balls...But anyway, I'm already woke up at 5am. Fucking slepping patern. Anyway, let's go work at 10am. I helped Tony to prepare the mixture for the fireplace. Then I brushed the stones, and then I returned the mixture prepared for Tony. You take the last two sentences and you reread it 15 times will give you an idea of my day. Break at lunch with nice bier from South Africa. Rob propose me an extra paid work. So, let's go. Pointing up the stone, make some mud, and brushed, and mixing up other kind of mud. We worked well and the fireplace will be finished tomorow.
